This ExonHost review comes from my own use. I hosted The Passive Circle on ExonHost’s Starter plan from July 2025 through December 2025. My invoice shows the paid service beginning on July 6, 2025, with a service location of NY, USA. The site was new, traffic was low, and I was still learning affiliate marketing.

I later moved the site to Hostinger, which I currently use. The reason was not poor performance. My site outgrew the storage and resources I wanted, and my audience became more international. I explain the full story below, along with what ExonHost publishes about its plans, backups and refunds.

ExonHost review 2026 for websites in Bangladesh

Affiliate disclosure. This article contains affiliate links. If you purchase ExonHost through my link, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. I used ExonHost myself before moving The Passive Circle to another host, so this review includes both what worked well for me and why I eventually moved.

ExonHost Review 2026: My Quick Answer

Is ExonHost good? Based on my experience, ExonHost worked well for my new, low-traffic WordPress site. Speed felt very good, and support was one of the strongest parts of my experience. That is one site over about six months, not a benchmark.

Is ExonHost good for WordPress? It is cPanel shared hosting with LiteSpeed, LSCache, Softaculous and a WordPress Manager tool. It is not a dedicated managed WordPress product. It worked well for my WordPress site.

Is ExonHost good for Bangladesh websites? It looks relevant for Bangladesh-focused sites. It offers BDIX hosting hosted in Bangladesh, local payment options and local support. I did not use BDIX hosting myself, so I can’t speak to it from personal use. If most of your visitors are abroad, compare server location, CDN use and network latency rather than choosing based on BDIX alone.

Who may want another host? Sites whose resource requirements, storage needs, preferred server location or growth plans point toward another setup. ExonHost’s own terms say backups are not guaranteed.

My Experience With ExonHost

Firsthand experience. I hosted The Passive Circle on the Starter plan for about six calendar months, counting from the July 6, 2025 date on my invoice. I set up WordPress, worked in cPanel and managed the site myself.

ExonHost Starter service for The Passive Circle in my account
My ExonHost account showing The Passive Circle on the Starter plan.

This screenshot shows my Starter service for thepassivecircle.com, with a registration date of 6 July 2025 and a login link for cPanel. The annual price it lists, BDT 3,599.76, is the price before my promo discount. I break down what I actually paid in the pricing section.

The site was a brand-new affiliate marketing website, and I was new to affiliate marketing too. I was learning as I went. I tested blog structure, menus, SEO, image placement, plugins, layout and different ways of publishing. Some experiments worked and some did not. I added content gradually.

Managing WordPress on ExonHost

I managed WordPress through the WordPress management tool inside my ExonHost account. The screenshot below shows The Passive Circle inside that tool. It shows the environment I worked in. It is not a performance result.

What this experience does and does not show

Traffic was relatively low because the site was new. So my experience is about running a new and growing affiliate website on ExonHost. It does not show how ExonHost performs under heavy traffic.

I also had limited comparison. Before ExonHost, I had only briefly tried a local hosting service that I stopped using.

Why I Chose ExonHost

These were my reasons at the start. They reflect my situation, and they may not apply to you.

  • Local payment: I could pay in local currency, including with bKash. At the time I did not have easy access to foreign currency, so this was a practical factor.
  • Affordable starting point: The plan was affordable enough for me to start with the budget I had at the time.
  • Local support: I was a beginner in Bangladesh, and local support felt reassuring.
  • cPanel and LiteSpeed: Both were useful features for a WordPress beginner.
  • Bangladesh hosting options: ExonHost offers BDIX hosting, which is relevant for Bangladesh-focused sites. I did not use it myself.

Payment methods can change. Check which ones ExonHost accepts when you order.

My Experience With ExonHost Support

One thing that stood out during my time with ExonHost was how quickly I could get help when I needed it.

One night, around 11:00 to 11:30 PM, I was connecting my website to Systeme.io. The setup needed a DNS change in the zone editor, and I was stuck. I contacted ExonHost support, and they helped me through it.

That is one example from my experience. I did not track response times or count tickets, so I can’t give figures. ExonHost itself advertises 24/7 support and a 1-hour response time. That is a provider claim.

ExonHost Features

According to ExonHost’s current Web Hosting page, its shared plans include:

  • NVMe SSD storage and cPanel
  • LiteSpeed web server with LSCache
  • Free Let’s Encrypt SSL
  • Softaculous script installer and a WordPress Manager
  • Free cPanel migration (see its transfer policy for conditions)
  • CloudLinux with CageFS for account isolation
  • Malware and exploit scanning, and a 20 Gbps DDoS protection claim
  • PHP Selector, Node.js and Python version selectors
  • Unlimited email accounts, subdomains and databases

These are features ExonHost advertises. I personally used cPanel and LiteSpeed. I did not use most of the others.

ExonHost Hosting Plans and Pricing

These are the three shared Web Hosting plans on ExonHost’s current page. I used the Starter plan. The limits below are today’s published figures for the current Starter plan, and may not match what my own account included back in 2025, since I don’t have a record of the exact specs at signup, only the plan name and price from my invoice.

ExonHost Starter, Standard and Advanced shared hosting plans
ExonHost’s Starter, Standard and Advanced shared plans as displayed on its website when I captured this screenshot. Prices can change.

Starter5 GB NVMe SSD250 GB21 core700 MB20 Mbps
Standard10 GB NVMe SSD500 GB51 core1 GB20 Mbps
Advanced20 GB NVMe SSD1,000 GB102 cores2 GB50 Mbps

Pricing. ExonHost’s page has monthly and annual billing, and says annual billing saves 15%. The prices load dynamically, so I am not quoting today’s number as if it were mine. Prices can change, so check the current ExonHost pricing page before purchasing, and look at the renewal price too.

What I Actually Paid

This table comes from my own ExonHost invoice dated July 6, 2025. I am not publishing the invoice itself because it contains personal billing details.

Invoice itemAmount (BDT)
Starter hosting for thepassivecircle.com, one year (6 July 2025 to 5 July 2026), original price3,599.76
Promo code ExonLove, 25% one-time discount-899.94
Hosting price after discount2,699.82
Domain registration for thepassivecircle.com, one year999.00
Total for hosting and domain3,698.82

The invoice lists the service location as NY, USA.

These are my 2025 figures, not today’s price. They show what a promotional order looked like. The invoice labels the ExonLove discount as a one-time discount, so do not assume the discounted price repeats at renewal. Ask ExonHost what the renewal price will be.

Promotions matter here. ExonHost’s terms say accounts bought under a promotion are excluded from the 30-day money-back guarantee. My own order used the ExonLove promo code, so under ExonHost’s terms my account appears to fall under that exclusion too. That is worth knowing before you check out on a discount code.

ExonHost Performance

My experience. During my usage, ExonHost felt fast and performed well for my site. I did not run a controlled benchmark, and I have no reliable historical TTFB, LCP or uptime measurements.

Downtime. I don’t remember experiencing any significant downtime while I used ExonHost. There may have been one or two brief incidents where the site did not load correctly, but refreshing resolved them. I don’t remember how long they lasted.

What ExonHost advertises. ExonHost advertises a 99.9% uptime guarantee and “20X faster” speeds. Those are marketing claims. Its terms say that if a service drops below 99.9% in a month, you can claim a free month within 7 days, and that uptime is calculated by ExonHost’s own status page and monitors. It publishes a status page at uptime.exonhost.com.

ExonHost for WordPress

ExonHost supports WordPress through its cPanel shared hosting environment, with LiteSpeed, LSCache, Softaculous and a WordPress Manager. It is not a dedicated managed WordPress product, but it worked well for my WordPress site.

In my own account, cPanel included WordPress Management by Softaculous, along with PHP tools such as MultiPHP Manager and Select PHP Version.

ExonHost cPanel WordPress management and PHP tools
ExonHost’s cPanel included WordPress management and PHP configuration tools in the hosting environment I used.

PHP versions. The screenshot shows that these tools exist in my account. It does not show which PHP versions ExonHost supports today. ExonHost’s public pages still contain references to older PHP versions. The Web Hosting page mentions PHP 7.4 in its speed copy, while its PHP Selector is listed as 5.6 to 8.x. Its BDIX page lists a different range. WordPress.org currently recommends PHP 8.3 or greater. Confirm the supported PHP versions with ExonHost before signing up or migrating.

ExonHost Bangladesh and BDIX Hosting

Does ExonHost have Bangladesh hosting? Yes. ExonHost lists BDIX Hosting, described as hosted in Bangladesh, and BDIX Turbo Hosting.

ExonHost BDIX hosting plans
ExonHost’s BDIX hosting plans as displayed on its website when I captured this screenshot. I did not use these plans.

BDIX is a local exchange that can shorten the network path for visitors on connected Bangladeshi networks. It does not make every website fast. Speed also depends on visitor location, the network path, caching, image sizes, WordPress configuration and hosting resources. For a longer explanation, see our guide to BDIX hosting.

My own invoice lists a service location of NY, USA, so my setup was not on ExonHost’s BDIX infrastructure, and I can’t speak to how BDIX plans perform from firsthand use. My audience was international, so I chose a standard plan. For a Bangladesh-focused site, ask the provider whether its Bangladesh or BDIX options match your visitors’ network and server-location needs.

ExonHost Backups and Security

My experience

During my time on ExonHost, I kept my own backups with a WordPress backup plugin. I never tested ExonHost’s backup restoration, so I have no firsthand experience with it.

What ExonHost publishes

ExonHost advertises daily automated backups with JetBackup. Its FAQ says there are 7 restore points. Its BDIX page gives 5 in another section. I would ask support which number applies to your plan.

What the Terms of Service state

ExonHost’s Terms of Service say it takes daily backups, but backups are not guaranteed and are for its own use in case of a server failure. They recommend clients keep their own copies and say clients are responsible for their own data. Restoration costs $10 as a one-time fee. Backups of suspended accounts cost $20 to restore.

My takeaway is to keep independent backups on any host. If you need help choosing a plugin, see WPvivid vs UpdraftPlus.

Security

ExonHost advertises CloudLinux isolation, malware scanning, DDoS protection and a Security Shield. I can’t verify how these work in practice.

ExonHost Money-Back Guarantee

ExonHost’s Terms of Service state a 30-day refund window for unresolved problems. Read the exclusions before you buy:

  • Accounts bought under a promotion are excluded from the 30-day guarantee.
  • Setup fees, domains and SSL certificates are not refundable.
  • VPS and dedicated servers have no refunds.

The plan pages advertise a 30-day money-back guarantee, so the exclusions are easy to miss. My own order used the ExonLove promo code, so based on ExonHost’s stated promotional-account exclusion, that order would appear to fall outside the 30-day money-back guarantee.

What I Would Check Before Buying ExonHost

This is the checklist I would use if I were choosing a host again. It comes from what ExonHost publishes and from what I learned on my own order. Confirm each point on ExonHost’s current pages or with its support before you pay.

  • Current price: Prices load dynamically on ExonHost’s site. Check the price shown at checkout, and note whether you are choosing monthly or annual billing.
  • Renewal price: A first-term promotional price may not repeat. The discount on my invoice was labelled one-time, so ask what the plan costs when it renews.
  • Storage: Compare the plan’s storage with your images, media, themes and plugins. I needed more storage as my site grew.
  • CPU and RAM limits: Check the published limits against what your site needs, especially if you expect traffic to grow.
  • Server location: Ask where your account will be hosted, and whether that suits your visitors.
  • PHP version: ExonHost’s pages mention different PHP versions in different places. Confirm which versions are supported now, and that they meet WordPress’s current recommendation.
  • Backup policy: The Terms of Service say backups are not guaranteed, so plan to keep your own copies.
  • Backup restoration cost: The terms list a $10 one-time restoration fee, and $20 for backups of suspended accounts.
  • Refund exclusions: The 30-day guarantee excludes promotional purchases, setup fees, domains, SSL certificates, and VPS and dedicated servers.
  • Whether BDIX is relevant to your visitors: BDIX can shorten the network path for visitors on connected Bangladeshi networks. It matters less if most of your visitors are elsewhere.
  • Upgrade path: Find out how you would move to a larger plan if your site grows, and what that would cost.

ExonHost Pros and Cons

What worked for me

  • Local payment, including bKash, made it easy to start.
  • Speed and performance felt very good for my low-traffic site.
  • Support helped me at night with a Systeme.io DNS setup.
  • cPanel and LiteSpeed were useful.
  • I don’t remember any significant downtime.

What to weigh

  • Backups are not guaranteed under ExonHost’s terms, and restoration has a fee.
  • Public pages show inconsistencies: restore points (5 vs 7) and PHP versions.
  • The refund guarantee excludes promotional purchases, and my own promo order appears to fall under that exclusion.
  • Entry plans have modest published CPU and RAM limits and small storage.
  • My experience is from a low-traffic site, so it says little about busy sites.

Who Might Find ExonHost a Good Fit?

ExonHost may suit beginners in Bangladesh who want local payment and local support, and small or new WordPress sites with modest resource needs. It may also suit Bangladesh-focused sites that want BDIX hosting. It made sense for me when I was starting out.

Who May Want Another Hosting Provider?

Consider other options if your resource requirements, storage needs, preferred server location or growth plans point toward another hosting setup. Also consider them if you need backups you can rely on without doing your own, or if you expect heavy traffic. Check the CPU and RAM limits against what your site needs.

An international audience is not automatically a reason to avoid ExonHost, and it does not mean Bangladesh hosting is unsuitable. Compare server location, CDN availability, network latency and resource limits for your own visitors, and ask each provider about them, rather than deciding on BDIX or Bangladesh hosting alone.

Why I Moved The Passive Circle From ExonHost to Hostinger

I moved The Passive Circle from ExonHost to Hostinger after December 2025. The reason was not that ExonHost performed badly. The site had grown.

I had published more articles and gathered more images, media, themes and plugins. I needed more storage and resources. Since I needed to upgrade or change my hosting setup anyway, I moved to a larger Hostinger plan.

My target audience is also international, not mainly Bangladeshi. ExonHost made sense when I was starting out, and my needs changed later.

This was my own decision for my own site. It is not a claim that Hostinger is better than ExonHost, and I did not run a comparison test.

ExonHost vs Hostinger

I don’t give one of them a rating, because the right choice depends on your needs. Here is how I think about the decision:

If your priority is…What to think about
Bangladesh-focused audienceLocal or BDIX hosting, such as ExonHost’s BDIX plans, is worth considering
International audienceServer location and a CDN, checked with each provider
Local paymentCheck which payment methods each provider accepts at checkout
Storage and growthCompare storage, CPU and RAM limits and the upgrade path
Beginner supportAsk how support works before you buy

For the full comparison, read Hostinger vs ExonHost. My separate Hostinger review covers that host on its own.

ExonHost Alternatives

If ExonHost is not the right fit, look at other Bangladesh-focused providers. My comparison guide, best WordPress hosting in Bangladesh, covers XeonBD, RoyelHost, HostSeba and Alpha Net from their published information. For lower-cost options, see cheap web hosting in Bangladesh. For international hosts, see the best web hosting services for beginners.

To compare costs, read current web hosting prices. If you are still learning the basics, start with what web hosting actually does.

My Final ExonHost Review Take

My honest ExonHost review is that it worked well for a new site at the stage I was in. Local payment was practical for me, support was helpful when I needed it, and the site felt fast during my period of use. I moved on because my site’s needs changed, not because of a problem.

Check the limits before you buy: backup terms, the refund exclusions, PHP versions and the renewal price. For a small website like mine was in 2025, ExonHost gave me a practical starting point. Whether it makes sense for you depends on your audience, resource needs, budget and the current terms.

How I Reviewed ExonHost

My experience comes from using ExonHost’s Starter plan for The Passive Circle from July 2025 through December 2025. I did not run formal benchmarks, so I do not present speed or uptime figures as my own test results. I also did not test its backup restoration.

Account evidence. The screenshots in this article come from my own ExonHost account. They show the environment I used. They do not prove speed, uptime, security, PHP support, backup quality or support quality. My own ExonHost invoice, dated July 6, 2025, documents the plan, price and service location for my purchase: Starter plan, BDT 2,699.82 after a 25% ExonLove promo discount, and a listed service location of NY, USA.

Provider information comes from ExonHost’s own pages, checked in September 2026: its Web Hosting page, BDIX Hosting page and Terms of Service. I use “ExonHost advertises” for marketing claims and “the Terms of Service state” for contractual terms.

This article contains affiliate links. If you purchase ExonHost through my link, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. I used ExonHost myself before moving The Passive Circle to another host, so this review includes both what worked well for me and why I eventually moved.
